In our ongoing quest to support open banking adoption in the United States, GT Software is proud to announce that we have joined the Financial Data Exchange (FDX). FDX is a non-profit dedicated to unifying global standards for data sharing and empowering consumers to make informed financial decisions.
The payment process in the U.S. is currently undergoing a drastic evolution but legacy systems and processes must be modernized to better support these changes. We believe the principles and guidance provided by FDX will help give our clients a concise and accessible path to an open banking framework.
“We look forward to our involvement with FDX to help accelerate open banking adoption in the U.S. by greatly simplifying and accelerating the enablement of legacy core banking systems,” says Stephen Hassett, president of GT Software.
GT Software will create the FDX API as a foundation for banking and finance mainframe connectivity, by incorporating their specifications into Ivory, our no-code integration platform. With them, our clients will be able to quickly and seamlessly build the APIs that will facilitate open banking.
